Lucille Goldman Brown

NORTH AUGUSTA – Mrs.  Lucille Goldman Brown, 93, wife of the late Larkin Brown, died Tuesday April 17, 2012 at University Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday April 23, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Bible Baptist Church on Sweetwater Road in Edgefield, S.C. A Private Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Langley.

Mrs. Brown was born in Del Rio, Texas and was a member of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church.  She was a retired textile worker and former owner of Brown’s Red and White Grocery.

Survivors include a daughter Melba B. Key, a son Joseph (Joe) Brown and his wife Patsy, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Judy Brown Chambers.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the residence of Bonnie Posey on Cherokee Drive, North Augusta, S.C.
