WIU Thanks Contributors

Women in Unity After School Learning Center would like to thank Mayor Ken Durham for supplying pizza on March 14, 2012 presented by Charlotte Cheatham, Sheriff Adell Dobey for supplying pizza on March 29, 2012 presented by Officer Gladys Mason , and Superintendant Walter Tobin for supplying pizza on April 16, 2012.   The children were very thankful and they enjoyed it. Thank you for caring about our cause and the children.  May God continue to bless you all.

All donations (technology, food, educational supplies, direct monetary support and volunteer time) enable us to offer adequate educational programs and critical resources to help meet the nutritional, health, shelter, clothing, and employment needs of families, children and senior citizens.

Each and every contribution makes a tremendous difference and directly benefits our program participants.  As you know our mission is to support positive change in the lives of children and families in our community by providing programs that will significantly improve their chances for success in school, in the workplace, and in the home.

Although we are a United Way agency, the majority of our financial support comes from individual donations and from fundraising efforts throughout the year.  Our members come from many walks of life and contribute their time and energy voluntarily to our programs.

One of our most vital programs is the Women In Unity After-School Learning Center located on Glover Street in the Edgefield.  Please feel free to come visit us!

We thank you for your prayers and for your continued and generous support of our programs
