Grab your hat and your kids and head for Trenton, SC because it’s time for the 42nd Annual Ridge Peach Festival, and you don’t want to miss the excitement Saturday, June 16, beginning at 9 a.m. The Trenton Community Development Association has packed the park with all day family fun including 120 Arts and Crafts, Antique Alley, Inflatables for the kids, hands-on demonstrations, fresh picked peaches, and loads of delicious foods to satisfy your cravings.

Visit the country store for Mrs. Helen Carpenter’s homemade Peach preserves, jams and jellies, peach ice cream, peach cobblers and baked desserts from some of the county’s best cooks. The parade comes through at 10:30 honoring this year’s Grand Marshals, Sheriff Adell Dobey, Trenton Police Chief Deke Tanks, Edgefield Police Chief Ronnie Carter, and Johnston Police Chief Chris Aston.

Enjoy live entertainment all day by local talents: Denny Kotz, Rachel Baker, Tracy White, the CSRA Zumba Instructors, and more. A festival favorite, the Fort Gordon Signal Corps Band will present a midday concert on the stage. Along with the festival in the park, guests can enjoy checking out antique cars on display or watching a softball tournament at the Trenton ball field.

The 42nd Annual Ridge Peach Festival is proudly sponsored by Titan Farms, SRP Federal Credit Union, SCE&G, First Citizens Bank, Edgefield Daily, SuperPro Audio, Billy’s Super Store, Trenton Community Development Association, and the Town of Trenton. Thank you also to Palmetto Propane for providing our ice trailer and ice.

Bring your family, but leave your pets at home as they are not allowed in the festival park. Club Car shuttles will run all day. The event is handicap accessible and is on level ground.
