Sheriff’s Office Solves More Area Burglaries

The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office has solved 3 more area burglaries.  A suspect has been identified and charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree and Grand Larceny for crimes that occurred on Brighthop Road and Hummingbird Drive in Trenton.        David Warrick, 28, formerly of Aiken county, but having recently moved to Edgefield county, has been charged with these crimes in which he stole 2 motorcycles.  He has also been charged with receiving stolen goods related to an incident on Fly Catcher Road.

Warrick was out on parole from Aiken county where he had recently been released for burglary and grand larceny.  He was illegally living in Edgefield county as he had not informed his parole officer of his move.  He is currently being held in the Edgefield county jail.

Two others are facing charges of burglary and grand larceny in connection with a theft on Jacob Mckie Road in Trenton.  Shane Randolph, 33, of Granitville, and Shannon O’Bryant, 37, of Chapin, are currently being held in the Aiken county jail on separate charges there, but warrants have been issued for their arrests in regards to the crimes they have committed in Edgefield county.  Holds have been placed on these men so that they will be turned over to the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office when they are released from Aiken county.  The two  are accused of stealing a refrigerator, dishwasher, assorted tools, and food from the Jacob Mckie residence.

While arrests and charges have been made for these 3 incidents, the investigation into these crimes continues and more arrests are possible.
