Martin Luther King Day: Simmon Ridge Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. day with a program, Monday, Jan. 21 at noon with Rev. John C.Wiliams of Positive Outreach Ministries as the guest speaker. Everyone is invited to celebrate this joyous occasion.

Victory Celebration: Come celebrate the re-election of President Barack Obama Monday, January 21, 2013, starting at 10 a.m. at the Community Center on Macedonia Street across from Macedonia Baptist Church in Edgefield. Refreshments will be served. Watch the inauguration on widescreen T.V.

Women in Unity Moving: Women in Unity will be moving and will have a two day Grand Opening Jan. 26 from 3-5 p.m., and January 27 from 2-5 p.m. at 3 Pecan Park in Edgefield. Everyone is invited to help celebrate the move to a larger facility.
