The Distinguished Young Women of Edgefield County have been announced after a recent pageant held at Strom Thurmond High School: they are Kalei Bowser, Distinguished Young Woman of South Edgefield County 2014 and Lauren Williams, Distinguished Young Woman of North Edgefield County 2014.
Preliminary winners were: scholastic, Kalei Bowser and Amanda Biddlecome; overall scholastic, Lauren Williams; interview, Lauren Williams and Kalei Bowser; talent, Lauren Williams and Kalei bowser; fitness, Amanda Biddlecome and Kalei Bower; self expression, Kalei Bowser and Lauren Williams; spirit award winner, Lauren Williams.
