Caught in Conversation at the Purple Fence

purple-fenceThese two guys, one known well locally and the other not-so-well, were caught in conversation outside the Purple Fence on Saturday afternoon.  What were they discussing?  The press was not privy to what they said, but we know that Tony Baughman (left) is a former journalist and now a radio personality with a bent for acting and directing; the fellow sitting next to him, he did reveal, is Richard Clark, Jr., who is at present in Charlotte, N.C., where he produces “narrative features” in film (full length movies). Is he looking at Edgefield to film or were they just vegging out following the performance of the night before at Purple Fence, when Trenton’s Joe Summer, son of the former mayor down there, was the star.

And by the way, the new lights out front were dazzling on Friday night as folks gathered to hear Joe – a new addition to the Fence, giving the feel of a marquee.
