Huddle House to Reopen

Huddle House to Reopen

huddlehouse – By Tiffani Ireland –

Nearly a year after its sudden close, The Advertiser has confirmed the local Huddle House will be reopening in the very near future.  A public relations official for Huddle House told The Advertiser, Tuesday, Aug. 27, that while there is not “a concrete opening date right now,” the company hopes to have the popular eatery opened again by “the end of September, early October.”

The Huddle House closed unexpectedly at the end of July 2012.  At that time, a representative with the company had given the reason for the closing as being due to the fact that the owner had “exited our system.”

The Advertiser was awaiting the release of the new owner’s names as we went to press.  We will continue to follow this story and post updates on our website at www.edgefieldadvertiser.com.

Update: The Advertiser has learned a local restaurant organization operating under the name ISA Restaurant Group, LLC, will own and operate the Huddle House on Augusta Road when it reopens.  No word yet as to when hiring may begin.  Continue to check our ads in our weekly print edition to see if advertising for open positions has begun.
