Musical Workshop: Springfield Baptist Singing convention will host it 4th Bi-Annual Musical Workshop on Sept. 13-15 at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Plum Branch, with registration beginning at 6 pm. Project Diabetes: Will be held at Republican Grove Baptist Church(276 Gary Hill Road, Edgefield) on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. This forum will teach you how to treat and manage diabetes. Southern Studies Showcase: The Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society and Old Edgefield District African American Genealogical Society are hosting a “Southern Studies Showcase” in Edgefield on September 20 and 21, 2013.
