James Wilson Jackson

TRENTON, S.C. – Funeral Services for Mr. James Wilson Jackson, age 80, will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 11 am at Bland Funeral Home Chapel, Johnston, with burial to follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 – 7 pm at Bland Funeral Home.

Mr. Jackson, a native of Edgefield County, died Saturday, December 21, 2013. He was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Mildred Elise Hite Jackson. James Wilson retired as owner of Jackson and Sons Logging after more than forty years, was a member of Kadosh Lodge 181, Saluda Shrine Club and Old Time Gospel Church.

Survivors include his wife: Lorena Wood Jackson; sons: Jimmy (Jane), Bob (Julie) and Jerry Jackson all of Trenton; step-sons: Bobby Wood, Tracy Wood (Amanda); step-daughter: Cindy Phillips (Byron); two grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and niece: Robin J. Blackmon. He was predeceased by his former wife: Bobby Jean Jackson and brother: R. Carson Jackson.

The members of The Saluda Shrine Club will be honorary pallbearers and memorials may be made to the club c/o Sammy Rhoden, 296 Artemus Rd, Ward, SC 29166.
