Jewel B. Pardue

JOHNSTON, S.C. – Mrs. Jewel B. Pardue, 89, of Johnston, S.C., wife of the late John Cecil Pardue, Sr., died Monday January 13, 2014 in Conway, S.C.

Funeral Services will be held Friday January 17, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. at Harmony United Methodist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. at the church before the service.

Mrs. Pardue was a native of Johnston, S.C. and was the daughter of the late Walter Dixon and Kate Clark Berry. Mrs. Pardue was a lifelong member of Harmony United Methodist Church. She was President of the South Carolina W.C.T.U. She was retired from Riegel Textile and she also retired from Dr. Steadman’s office in Johnston.

Survivors include 1 son- John C. (Bonnie) Pardue, Jr., Conway, S.C.; 1 Sister- Mary (Dan) Carroll, Johnston, S.C.; 2 Grandchildren- Tracey (John) Balderson, Chicago, Ill., Kevin (April) Pardue, Conway, S.C.; and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
