The Edgefield Community Development Association is sponsoring a ChocAround Thursday, February 13, 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Local merchants will open their doors and roll out the red carpet for shoppers to peruse merchandise while sipping a glass of wine and tasting chocolate confections, offering up a fun filled night of hospitality and specials in their shops for shoppers to enjoy.

Caroline Bland of Mercy Me! stated, “Make sure to get your shopping passport at any of the downtown shops and restaurants and have it punched by each location that you visit for a chance to win an over-the-top gift basket.”  All of the contents of the basket have been donated by merchants and artists and also include a bottle of wine & and chocolates as well as wonderful gifts and treats.

Beautiful luminaries will provide a candlelit stroll to the participating local businesses.   And on this Valentine Eve, “Find the perfect gift for all of the Valentines on your list at one of our lovely shops and make sure to stay and dine in one our delicious restaurants.  Join us for this fun, beautiful, and delicious event.”
