AIKEN, S.C. – Mrs. Heather Cole, 33, mother of Morgan Holley, Hannah Cole and Dylan Rhodes and daughter of David Shuford and Shelia B. Shuford, entered into rest on Saturday, February 1^st, 2014.

Born in Augusta, GA and a resident of the Sweetwater Community of Edgefield County, SC, most of her life, she had made Aiken County, SC, her home for the past ten years. She was a graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Aiken Technical College. She was a former longtime employee of Jiffy Lube and recently became employed by John Deere. Heather loved animals, especially horses and goats. She enjoyed being on her farm.

In addition to her children and parents, family members include siblings, Pamela Kissiah, Jennifer Shuford and Chad Laughter,  grandparents, E.C. (the late Patricia) Shuford,  the late  Hazel Dixon, who Heather called “Nanny”,  and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday at 6 o’clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Dr. Gaye Ortiz officiating.
