Larry Dale Calliham

WATERLOO, S.C. – Mr. Larry Dale Calliham, 63 of Arnold Lane, husband of Karolyn Thompson Calliham, died Monday February 24, 2014 at Self-Regional Medical Center. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 2 P.M. at Barrs Chapel Methodist Church on North Martintown Rd. in Edgefield. Burial will be in church cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Mr. Calliham was a native of Greenwood County and he was the son of Mrs. Mary Helen Wooten Calliham and the late James Benjamin Calliham, Sr. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, and he was a Mason. He was a retired Maintenance Tech at Ascend in Greenwood. Mr. Calliham was the lead singer in the band “Amarilla.”

Survivors include his wife, his mother, 4 Sons- Troy (Sheila) Calliham, Travis (Michelle) Calliham, James Calliham, and Kenneth Calliham; 1 Daughter- Kacie (Tyler) Calliham; 2 Brothers- J.B. (Joan) Calliham, Jr., Tommy Calliham; 1 Sister- Juanita (Tommie Lee) Leopard; 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Self-Regional Cancer Center, 1325 Spring St. Greenwood, S.C. 29646 or to the Larry Calliham Benefit Fund at the County Bank of Greenwood.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. before the service at the church.
