American Legion Post 154, of Johnston, South Carolina, awarded certificates of appreciation to businesses that participated in their recent fund raising campaign in support of our “Wounded Warriors.”  Collectively the businesses have raised over $1,500 that will be distributed to wounded servicemen and women and their families to buy necessities used in their daily lives.

Pictured above, with Commander Mario Luna, are Mrs. Penny Hunt, the post liaison with our Wounded Warriors and Mr. Kenneth Davis of M&H Drugs.  Nine businesses were awarded certificates of appreciation including Smith’s Service Station, M&H Drugs, Heritage Hardware, Triangle Restaurant, First Citizens Bank, Pine Ridge Country Club, Johnston Liquor Store, Royal Foods and Peachtree Barber Shop.  Mrs. Hunt was also awarded a certificate of appreciation for her participation in serving our veterans and assisting our Post Commander.
