Movie Night: Edgefield County Library will be hosting a Movie Night on Thursday, June 19 at 7:00 p.m.  We will be showing “Despicable Me 2”.  Popcorn and drinks will be provided.  Parents, please accompany your child(ren).

Movie Night: Hitchcock Healthcare will sponsor the move “UP” on the square in Edgefield on Friday, June 20 at 8 p.m.

Edgefield Farmers and Artisans Market: Town Square, every Saturday until November from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Plants, vegetables, fresh eggs, crafts and more. Vendors welcome. Info: 706-631-5564.

Johnston Farmers Market: There will be seasonal fruits & vegetables, baked goods, artist’s painting, etc. The market will continue on Thursday afternoons from 4 until 6 pm.

Junior Volunteers:Edgefield County Hospital is seeking young men and women ages 14-17 to volunteer at the hospital 8-10 hours per week beginning June 23. For more info contact Kristi Tucker at 803-384-4003.

Women in Unity Summer Camps: Summer Enrichment July 28-August 15; Cost is $100 per camp per child. Time is 8:30- 2:00 with breakfast and lunch served. Call Essie at 637-2010 or come visit at 3 Pecan Park, Edgefield.

Youth Day Program: Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Johnston will have their Annual Youth Day Program Sunday, June 22, at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Min. Roydell Dicks of Bell Grove Baptist Church. The public is invited. Rev. Lewis Burt is pastor.

Youth Day: Church on the Rock F.B.H., 92 Calhoun St., Johnston, will have Youth Day Sunday, June 22, at 1 p.m. Speaker will be Tekeya Edwards of Walk of Faith. Pastor is Rev. Doris West.

Basketball Camp: Wardlaw Academy Basketball Camp will be held June 23-27 from 9 a.m. to noon for rising 1st grade to 8th grade(boys and girls).
