EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Mrs. Betty Chinn, of Rock Hill Drive, entered into rest August 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 7, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Patten officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Chinn was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Venson Chinn, Sr.; a son Venson (Dana) Chinn, Jr. of Edgefield; mother, Frances Alston of Philadelphia, Penn.; two sisters, Mariah Allen of Edgefield and Teretha(Julius) Williams of Philadelphia; four brothers, William Alston, Anthony Alston, Robert Alston all of Philadelphia and Roger Mealing of Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren, Alana Chinn, Jordan Chinn, and Maliyah Chinn; a host of other relatives and friends.
