This seems to be the time for strolling down memory lane. Jimmy and I graduated from Edgefield High in 1957. We had our 57th class reunion on Saturday, August 9. How ironic that we graduated in 1957, 57 years ago and most of us in this class

will reverse those numbers and be 75 years old this year, if not already. Thirty of us (classmates and spouses) gathered at The Old Edgefield Grill for a delicious lunch. Travis Bethune, the chef, reserved two rooms for us and we had a wonderful time talking and laughing before getting into the food. As we ate dessert, members of the class shared things of interest. It was a delightful afternoon and I believe everyone agreed that it was nice to have it at lunchtime instead of at night (of course nothing to do with our age). HA! It was so good seeing friends of our high schooldays. We have all moved on to various places, most retired but seem to be busier than ever. Normally we have our reunion every 5 years but at the last one, we decided for every two years. Who know, we may have it again next year!
