WARD, S.C. – Mrs. Eugenia (Jean) Rodgers Chambers, 65, of Ward, wife of Kenneth Chambers, Sr., died Sunday October 28, 2012 at Self-Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.
Funeral Services will be held Friday November 2, 2012 at 3 P.M. at Richland Springs Baptist Church in Saluda with burial in the Johnson Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Chambers was a native of Saluda, S.C. and was a member of Richland Springs Baptist Church. She was a retired sales clerk.
Survivors include her husband, 2 Daughters- Martha Stevens, Selma, N.C., Linda Marie Chambers, West Columbia; 1 Son- Kenneth Chambers, Jr., Plum Branch; 1 Sister- Joanne Friar; 6 Grandchildren- Tabitha, Vada, Krystal, Tanis, Hugh, and Victoria; 2 Great-Grandchildren- Alex and Nick.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday November 1, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
