JOHNSTON, S.C. – Funeral Services for Mrs. Marjorie Thomas Yonce, age 88, will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 2 o’clock at Dry Creek Baptist Church, Ward, SC. with burial to follow in Mt. of Olives Cemetery, Johnston. The family will receive friends at Bland Funeral Home Saturday evening from 5-7 pm.

Mrs. Yonce, a native of Johnston, died Friday, January 25, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Hudson E. and Nettie Creed Thomas. Mrs. Yonce retired from First Citizens Bank and was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer and Sunday School Teacher for a number of years

Survivors include a brother: H.W. Thomas; nieces and nephews: Sylvia Billue, Kathy Dancy, Judy Goss, Doris Rhodes, Wilson Thomas, Bernon Thomas, Randy Thomas and Pamela Williamson. She was predeceased by her husband: Marion Walker Yonce, brother: Edward E. Thomas and sister: Mildred T. Quarles.

The family is at the home of Doris Rhodes, 34 Rhodes Lane, Johnston, SC.
