EDGEFIELD, S. C. – Memorial service for Mr. Raymond Oliphant will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2012 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Lloyd officiating.
Mr. Oliphant, a native of Edgefield County was a graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children. Raymond (Kentra) Oliphant; Keasha (Wendell) Dixon and Summer Oliphant; his mother, Rosa L. Oliphant; brothers, Frank Oliphant, Jr. and Willie R. (Alice) Oliphant; sisters, Blanche B. Johnson, Franklin (James) Dukes, Linda Stringfellow, Diane( Roderick Miles) Oliphant, Ernestine Stevens, Leona Gilchrist, Cora (Toney) Griffin, Janice Oliphant and Cynthia (Kelvin) Thomas; 3 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call the residence of his mother, 96 Promise Land Road.
