Friends of the Library: (FOL) wants your support to enhance Library services.  Join us for a tax-deductible $25, dropped off at the Library anytime between now and May 31.  We meet at the Library every third Thursday of the month at 5PM.

Jewelry Sale: Edgefield County Hospital Auxiliary will have its Jewelry Sale, fun and fashion for only $5, in the main lobby of the hospital April 25 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and April 26 from 8 a.m. to  4 p.m.

Car Wash/Fish Fry:The Simpkins & Dawkins Families are having their annual Carwash and Fish fry to be held on Sat. April 27,  at the old gas station on Main Street across from Piedmont Tech. The carwash will begin at 8am and the fish sandwiches will be ready for sale at 11am

Relay for Life: Edgefield County Relay for Life will be held Sat., April 27 from 1 p.m. until 1 a.m. April 28 at Strom Thurmond High School.

Men and Women Day Program: Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, April 28, at 10 a.m.  Speaker for the day will be Minister Ricky Brunson, Son of the House for China Grove Baptist Church.

Anniversary: Pastor and First Lady Marshall Hopkins’ Anniversary will be held Sunday, April 28, at 3 p.m. at Piney Grove Holiness Church(off Old Chapel Ferry Rd.) in Edgefield County.

Wounded Warriors: Will be visiting Edgefield the morning of May 16, around 11:00.  They will drive from Augusta to the square and then to the National Wild Turkey Federation for entertainment and lunch.  Citizens may wish to greet them on the square.
