Trinity Community Church Celebrates 156th Anniversary

Trinity Community Church on Mims Street in Edgefield celebrated a 156th anniversary on May 26 with a number of visiting ministers and dignitaries joining in the program.  The following is a word from their pastor, Rev. Eddie Woods:

Trinity Community Church family would like to thank the Edgefield Community and the following pastors along with their members for supporting them as they celebrate the church’s 156th anniversary May 13-19, 2013. Edgefield United Methodist, Liberty Spring Baptist, Living Word Fellowship, Mt. Sinai Holliness, First Baptist Church, Mt. Olive  Baptist, Springfield Baptist, Edgefield Church of God, Chiney Grove Baptist, Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Blythewood S.C., Edgefield Baptist Association, and The Episcopal Church of the Ridge. A special thanks to the Jackson family and to our elected government leaders that were present; Senator Shane Messey, Representative William Clyburn, Mayor Ken Durham, Town Council Jasper Lloyd Sr., Rev. Scotty Burton and County Councilmen Norman Dorm.
