Planning Commission Date Change:The July meeting for the Edgefield County Planning Commission will be held July 25.

Theater Camp Production: Kids Theater Camp will have 3 performances of Alice in Wonderland July 19 & 20 at 6 p.m. and July 21 at 3 p.m. at the Discovery Center. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the Edgefield County Theater Box Office or call 637-3833.

Drive In Movie & Costume Contest: ECDA and Bluegrass Materials, Edgefield Quarry will sponsor The Flintstones movie at 8:30 p.m. and costume contest at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.

Catfish Stew: Catfish Stew Benefit held for Tommy Hammond on Saturday, July 20th from 12:00pm until sold out.  The Benefit will be held at the Edgefield Masonic Lodge Concordia #50, Penn Street in Edgefield.  The catfish stew will be sold for $7.00 per quart and will be take out onlyFor more information please contact Wes Seigler at 480-4767.

Missionary Program: Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Johnston is having their Junior and Senior Missionary Program, Sun., July 21 at 4 p.m. We will have the 7UP Program with 7 dynamic speakers. The public is invited. Rev. Lewis Burt is the pastor.

Open House: The Edgefield/McCormick Saluda Guardian ad LItem Program has relocated to 204 Buncombe St. Edgefield. An Open House Drop In will be held July 23, from 4-6 p.m. (Phone number is 637-9614) Volunteers are desperately needed to serve as child advocates.
