Barbecue Before the Johnston Farmer’s Holiday Market, Dec. 5

JFMThursday, December 5, will be a good day for eating and shopping in downtown Johnston. First, starting at 12 noon, Johnston United Methodist Church will be offering BBQ sandwiches and drinks along with whole and half barbecue chickens; pulled port also, by the pound. The sales will continue until 6 p.m., along with the Market.

The Johnston Farmer’s Market special Holiday Market is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. It will be held in front of the Library/Warehouse building on Calhoun Street or if cold and/or rainy they will set up inside the Warehouse building. Wonderful time to buy jellies and pies for those special holiday dinners, along with fresh vegetables, rolls and fudge.  Craft items will be available as will Lion’s Club Brooms.
