Dinner Sale: Women In Unity will have a dinner sale on November 15, from 11:00 until 1:30. The plates will have fried whiting fish, baked beans, potato salad, and white bread. Each plate will cost $7.00. We will also sell whiting sandwiches for $3.00.

Legion Auxiliary: Edgefield American Legion Ladies Auxiliary will meet at 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, at the Edgefield Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The American Legion has invited the Auxiliary to their Thanksgiving Meal ($5.00 each) on Thurs., Nov. 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion Bldg.

Edgefield County Republican Party: Matt Moore the SC Republican Party Chairman will be at the County Council Chambers at 225 Jeter Street, in Edgefield on November 19. Legislative Delegation Meeting: The Edgefield County Legislative Delegation will meet on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Edgefield County Council Chambers located at 225 Jeter Street, in Edgefield.
Hunting Heritage Banquet: The annual NWTF Hunting Heritage banquet is being held Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Old Kendall Mill located at 560 Norris St., in Edgefield. The event, sponsored by WKSX-FM, will feature door prizes, raffles, a live and silent auction and a catered dinner by Parklane Seafood. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at Turkey Shoppe on Main on the downtown square.
Johnston Elementary Bingo: Johnston Elementary School PTO will have a Hot Dog Supper and Bingo Night Thursday, Nov. 21 in the school cafeteria beginning at 5:30 p.m. Come out for a fun family evening and support the school.
Hospital Auxiliary Fall Bake Sale: Edgefield County Hospital Fall Festival Bake Sale will be held November 22, from 10am-2pm in the Employee Dining Room. There will be homemade jams, jellies, preserves, pickles, cakes and breads. The gift baskets will include donations from local merchants and Auxiliary members. There will be a turkey and ham raffle too. The public is welcome.

Christmas Tree Lighting: The Town of Edgefield will have their tree lighting on Friday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. Christmas carols will be sung and snow on the square is guaranteed.
Christmas Tour of Churches: The churches of Edgefield along with the Edgefield Historical Society will have the Tour of Churches at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1. Tour begins at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and ends with refreshments at Magnolia Dale. For more info call 637-4104.
Christmas Parade:The 40th Annual Edgefield Christmas Parade will be Sunday, December 8, at 4:00 p.m. There will be snow!
