November 6, 2014, the jury in the Edgefield County Criminal Court found two defendants “not guilty” in a case involving alleged burglary, kidnapping and armed robbery. Mr. A. Roger Lamb of Johnston was the victim in the case, represented in court by the Solicitor’s office.

According to Mr. Lamb, who describes himself (in a brief interview Monday morning) as an “upstanding, contributing member of the community,” he is “suffering a travesty of justice.” He has placed in the newspaper, on page 2, an advertisement explaining this “travesty” and the result of a lie detector test in which he seeks a correction of the “assault on his reputation.”
