JOHNSTON FARMER’S & ARTIST’S MARKET continues each Thursday from 4 – 6 p.m.  There will not be a market Thanksgiving week.  Thursday, December 4th, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. will be our ANNUAL HOLIDAY MARKET and will end the season.

Storytime at the Library: Storytime at the Library will be Saturday, Nov. 22, at 11:30 a.m. at the Edgefield County Library in Edgefield. For more information call Miranda DiMarco at 637-4025.

Fall Revival: Mt. Calvary Baptist Church will have their Fall Revival Nov. 12-13(Wed. and Thurs. nights) at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker is Rev. Winston Oliphant, pastor of Rosa Spring Baptist Church in Johnston. The public is invited. Rev. Lewis Burt is pastor.

NAACP will hold its monthly meeting, Saturday, November 15, 9:00 am at Macedonia Baptist Church on Macedonia Street in Edgefield.

The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Monday – November 17, at the Senior Citizen Council building on Center Springs Road.  The meeting will be at 3:00 p.m.  All members are urged to attend. Visitors are welcome.

Hunting Heritage Banquet: NWTF Hunting Heritage Banquet will be held Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Old Kendall Mill, Norris Street, Edgefield. The event will feature door prizes, raffles, a live and silent auction and a catered dinner by Parklane Seafood. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the Turkey Shoppe on Main in Edgefield.

Fall Festival/Bake Sale: The Edgefield County Hospital Auxiliary will have their annual Fundraiser and bake sale at the hospital Friday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Two gifts baskets, a ham and a turkey will be raffled. Homemade jams, jellies, preserves, cakes and breads will be sold. The public is welcome.

Clemson/U.S.C. Sunday: Johnston Pentecostal Holiness Church will have Clemson and U.S.C. Sunday on Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is Clemson graduate Darla Steele, who is Thurmond High Agriculture teacher. Gift baskets and tailgate supplies will be given our Everyone should wear school colors. An offering will be taken for the Johnston Food Bank.
