Threats at Urban Outfitters

January 20, 2015 – The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office responded to Urban Outfitters in Trenton, Friday, Jan. 16, in reference to threats made at the distribution facility. Upon arrival, law enforcement was informed by an employee that sometime during the morning hours, someone went into the men’s bathroom and wrote a threat on the wall of a bathroom stall. The deputy was escorted to the restroom in the rear of the facility and observed the following message written in black on the wall: “Warning: Feb. 02, 2015 stay home if you Don’t want to Die I’m shooting everything in my path ……”. It is unknown who might have written the message.

All ECSO shifts have been made aware of this threat and a request has been made for extra patrol of the facility during and after shift changes.
