American Legion Steak Supper: Johnston American Legion Steak supper will be Saturday, April 4, from 5-7 p.m. at the Legion Hut on Edisto Street. Tickets are $14. Call John Timmerman at 637-6866 for tickets.

Easter Services: Edgefield United Methodist Church will have Maundy Thursday Communion Service, April 2, at 6 p.m.

Good Friday Service will be held at Barrs Chapel at 6:30 p.m.

Easter Sunday Service will be held at 11 a.m. with an Easter cantata by the church. Everyone is welcome to all of these services.

NINETY SIX, South Carolina: Ninety Six National Historic Site will host 96 Crossroads: Find Your Park along the Path Less Traveled on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Scheduled activities will be held from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on Saturday. The Visitor Center will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday Ninety Six National Historic Site is home to battlefields from the French and Indian War and Revolutionary War and much more. Sunrise Service: A community wide Sunrise Service will be held Sunday, April 5, at 6:30 a.m. at Slade’s Lake. Afterward everyone is welcome to a light breakfast at Edgefield United Methodist Church.

Bells & Whistles:, a fresh-faced festival in downtown McCormick, SC, April 11 is barreling full steam ahead. Lots of chairs are being designed and painted for the Painted Chair Silent Auction.
