Revival: Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Johnston will have a spring revival Wednesday & Thursday( April 15 and 16) at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Melvin Searles of Pleasant Lane Baptist Church. The public is invited. Rev. Lewis Burt is pastor.

Friends of the Edgefield County Public Library (FOL) invite you to join us for the betterment of the Library’s infrastructure, programs and services to our community. We meet every third Thursday of the month. $25 annual membership dues. Next meetings, Thursday, April 16 and Thursday, May 21. Hope to see you there!

Choir Performance: Benedict College Choir will perform at Second Baptist Church, 425 Hampton Ave., Aiken, S.C. on Sunday, April 19, at 4 p.m. Students interested in attending the college may audition for the choir and potentially receive up to $8,000 per semester in scholarships.

Legion Auxiliary: The monthly meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary will be on Monday, April 20, at the Senior Citizen Council Bldg.at 3:00 p.m.   Please make plans to attend.

Bake Sale: The American Legion Auxiliary will have their annual bake sale on Saturday, April 18.  This will be held on the porch of the American Legion Building in Edgefield, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. There will be cakes, pies, cookies, breads, etc.  Come by and purchase your Sunday desserts.
