On April 18, 2015 there will be a “Murder and Mayhem” tour on the Courthouse Square in Edgefield from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Bushwhackin’ Bea will take 25 people around the Town Square and tell them about the bloodier side of Edgefield’s history.  Tickets are $5.00 for an adult and children under 12 are free.  For more information, please call Tonya Guy at 803-637-4010.

At 2:30 p.m., there will be a Wild West style shootout on the Edgefield Courthouse Square during the Bluegrass Festival.  The Turkey Creek Outlaws (an all female gang), led by Bushwhackin; Bea, will attempt to rob one of the local merchants on the Town Square and it is up to Marshall Guy and his posse to stop them.  Come out and enjoy the fun!  There will be great music from Bluegrass bands and good food from local vendors.  The Bluegrass Festival, sponsored by Carolina Moon Distillery, will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Also on the 18th, the Edgefield Civic League is having a Spaghetti Dinner at the Tompkins Library (104 Courthouse Square) from 11:00 a. m. until 3:00 p. m. The cost is $10.00 a ticket.  Eat In or Take Out.  Meal includes spaghetti, bread, salad, and drink.  Proceeds will benefit the Edgefield Civic League and Edgefield Cemetery Association.
