Revival: Edgefield Church of God would like to invite everyone to a Holy Ghost Revival Sunday, July 12, at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday, July 13-15 at 6:30 nightly.

Awareness Fair: The Simmon Ridge Samaritan Baptist Association will hold a Community Awareness Fair on Saturday, July 11, at 9:30 AM at Brewer Community Center, Greenwood. Registration will begin at 9:15 AM. The guest speaker will be Rev. Eric Morton. Topics of discussion: Law Enforcement/Stroke/Bullying/Basic First Aid for Ushers.

Edgefield Cruise-In:on the square, Sat., July 18, 4 to 7 p.m., rain or shine. People with classic cars, trucks or motorcycles are invited to park on the square. Spectators are invited but asked to park outside the square. It is a free event. WKSXwill be broadcasting live playing Oldies. For more information call 803-637-4600.

Bible School: Johnston First Baptist Church will be having a one day Vacation Bible School on Saturday, July 18 from 10AM -5:00PM, ages 3-5th grade. Our theme is: “Camp Kilimanjaro-An Epic Expedition Though Proverbs”. We will have special Bible time,  games, music and crafts!  Lunch and snacks will be provided. Anniversary: Pine Pleasant Baptist Church, 457 Pine Pleasant Church Road, Saluda, 184th Anniversary will be held Sunday, July 19, at 11a.m. Special guest speaker will be Rev. Johnson Dorn who ministers at Hope Chapel in Saluda. There will be special singing by southern gospel artist Oasis from Newberry. A covered dish lunch will follow the service. Youth Explosion: Women in Unity will sponsor their annual Youth Explosion Saturday, July 25,from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Edgefield Soccer Field, 696 Mims Street. for children 17 and under with free lunch. Revival: Mine Creek Missionary Baptist Church will hold their Annual Summer Revival Services July 27-July 30, at 7:30p.m. On Sunday, services will begin at 11a.m. with Rev. Carlton Whidby, of the Cornerstone Community Baptist Church, Roxboro, NC as the guest preacher. Revivalists for the week are Rev. Lonnie Jones (Monday), Rev. Calvin Robinson (Tuesday), Rev. Felton Price (Wednesday) and Rev. Leroy Robertson (Thursday).
