Richard Thomas Howard, 75, of Academy St. husband of Sandra Morgan Howard, died Friday December 25, 2015 at University Hospital.

Graveside services will be held Monday December 28, 2015 at 2 PM at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery in Edgefield, S.C.

Mr. Howard was born in Vero Beach, Fla. and was a member of Johnston Church of God. He was an Air force veteran. Mr. Howard was a retired welder and pipefitter with Brunswick Pulp and Paper Mill, after his retirement he worked at the Recycling Center in Edgefield.

Survivors include his wife; 1 daughter, Sheri (Steve) Batten; 1 son, Steven (Tanya) Howard; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; and 1 sister, Mary Kicklighter.

The family will receive friends Sunday December 27, 2015 from 4 to 6 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
