New Restaurant Coming to Downtown Edgefield

Randy Stamm, owner of Prime Steak House in Aiken, is bringing a new restaurant to downtown Edgefield. The new eatery will be taking up residence in the building that formerly housed Mercy Me! across from Chef Bob’s. Speaking to The Advertiser, Friday, Jan. 15, Stamm said that Nonna’s Italian Kitchen will be a “moderately priced” family style restaurant. It is slated to be open 7 days a week from 5-10 with brunch served Sundays after church. Patrons will also be able to order from the dinner menu during the lunchtime hours Thurs.- Fri. Entrees will be priced between $14-$18 and will include a salad and pasta.

Stamm has employed a specialist in restoring historical buildings to renovate the space. Renovations have already begun, and the building has been taken back to the original brick thus far. Stamm said that he expects the restaurant to be open sometime this summer.
