George Edward Agner, Sr., 82, husband of Lillie Mae Riley Agner, died Friday August 19, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held Monday August 22, 2016 at 2 PM at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in church cemetery.

Mr. Agner was born in Edgefield County and was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. He was a retired S.C. Fire Warden and a Farmer.

Survivors include his wife; 1 daughter; Rebecca Ann “Becky” Prince; 1 son; George Edward “Eddie” (Karen) Agner, Jr.; 1 brother; James M. ( Shirley) Agner; 4 grandchildren ; Reanna Jo, and Talton Lewis Prince, Sara Alice, and George Edward Agner, III. He was predeceased by a son-in-law Joe Prince.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday August 21, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
