JOHNSTON – Cornelia “Sally” Pixley Burt entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2016, at Ridge Nursing Home in Edgefield, S.C. surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, December 7, at Mt.Calvary Baptist Church in Johnston. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, George Fab Burt and a son, Michael.
She is survived by eight sons and one daughter: James Fab (Lillie Judy), Tommy(Vera), Willie(Brinalynn), Susann Talbert, Lewis(Diane), Eugene, William(Victoria), Melvin and Gerald. The family received friends Tuesday, December 6, from 6-8 PM at Amos & Sons Funeral Home in Johnston.
