Oyster Roast: Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce will hold an oyster roast, Nov. 9, at 5 p.m. in the Johnston Municipal Parking Lot. The roast will benefit Fox Creek, Strom Thurmond High, and Wardlaw Academy. Tickets are being sold at First Citizens Banks, Regions Bank, SRP Federal Credit Union, Turkey Shoppe and the Chamber.
Veterans Day Program: This year’s Veterans Day program will be hosted by Edgefield Post 6932 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in the town square on November 11,, at 3:00 p.m. There will be entertainment, singing and a chance to celebrate with our veterans.
