Maria Rosserio Bryant, 54, of Edgefield, was reported missing Sunday by a relative. According to reports, the Hispanic woman was last seen at neighbor’s house on Parker Road around 10:00 a.m., however, she was not missed until later that day. Mrs. Bryant, who does not drive and does not know a lot of people in the area, is described as being 150-180 pounds, wears glasses, and speaks with a heavy Spanish accent. She was possibly wearing a light blue, light weight jacket at the time of her disappearance.
The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene to investigate this matter. The canine tracking unit was also called to the scene, however, they were unable to locate Mrs. Bryant. A BOLO has been issued for Mrs. Bryant, the ECSO is asking the public to contact them with any information regarding this incident as soon as possible so Mrs. Bryant may be returned home safely.
