EDGEFIELD, S. C. – Mr. Raleigh B. Yeldell, Jr., 54, entered into rest January 11, 2014. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Myers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Yeldell, a native of Edgefield County was United States Army Veteran. He was a 1977 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and a member of Springfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include his ex-wife, Frances Barnes Yeldell; two daughters, Camikia Nicole (Lamont) McCullough and Sharonda Yeldell; five sons, Senecca Williams, Terrance Barnes, Raleigh Yeldell, III,  Randall Yeldell and Philamontase Williams; his mother, Carrie Mance Yeldell; four sisters, Gwendolyn (Malcolm) Smith,  Brenda (Bruce) Gordon,  Carolyn Yeldell and Tabitha (Jeffery) Weaver; a brother, Rodney (Nadine) Yeldell; 7 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
