Humor in Poetry: Seminar, in memory of Starkey Flythe, Jr., and featuring his work; Sat., May 3, 2-4 p.m. Morris Museum of Art, One 10th St., Augusta, Ga., $10.00 admission, refreshments. Discussion led by poet Gilbert Allen.

Luncheon: Fairview Presbyterian Church Women are hosting a luncheon, May 7,at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall in North Augusta with guest speaker Jane Herlong.The public is invited. Tickets are $10 and may be published by Parks Pharmacy,Jim Bush Florist, church office or Mercy Me in Edgefield until May 1.

Homecoming/Revival: Rehoboth Baptist Church will have Homecoming Sunday, May 4, at 11 a.m. Rev. Brantley Bryan will preach and lunch will follow the service. Revival services will be held May 4-7 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Garvin as guest minister.

Little Junior Miss: DYW of Edgefield will sponsor Edgefield County’s Little Junior Miss Pageant on Saturday, May 17 at 10:00 at JET Middle School Cafeteria. It is open to ages K4 to 8th grade girls. Anyone interested should contact Stephanie Culver at 803-275-9349 for more information.
