MODOC, S.C. – Mrs. Reba Quarles, 89, of Modoc, wife of the late Lee W. Quarles, died Friday December 5, 2014.

Funeral service will be held Monday December 8, 2014 at 2 PM at Peace Haven Baptist Church. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Mrs. Quarles was born and raised in Edgefield County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Crafton and Mary Emma Williams Hammond. She was a life long member of Peace Haven Baptist Church and a retired Social Worker.

Survivors included 1 daughter; Rosemary Quarles, 1 brother; T.C. (Mildred) Hammond a special friend and sitter Annie Williams. She was predeceased by a son Thomas Quarles and a sister Betty Hammond.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday December 7, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
