DNR to Conduct Coyote Biology, Control Program Jan. 27 in Greenville 

January 15, 2015 – The S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Southern Goat Producers Association along with Clemson Extension and the SC Sheep Industries Association, will host a free coyote control program in Greenville at the University Center on Jan. 27. Check in begins at 5 p.m. at the University Center Auditorium, 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville and the program gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

Jay Butfiloski, DNR Furbearer & Alligator Program Coordinator and Certified Wildlife Biologist will be the featured speaker.

Directions to University Center: Take I-385 toward downtown Greenville. Take the South Pleasantburg exit (Hwy 291). Proceed until you reach Antrim Drive (about four traffic lights). Turn left and then right into McAlister Square Mall parking after the bank. Facing the Mall, the University Center is located at the far left of the building. Enter the University Center through the walkway. After entering the building, turn left. The auditorium will be on your right.

There is also an option for a 5:30 p.m. meal of pork BBQ and ribs. The meal is $10 for Southern Goat Producers Association members and $12 for non. An accurate head count of all those expecting to eat is requested. Payment for the meal is at the door, or use PayPal online (http://southerngoatproducers.org/wordpress/?page_id=1041).
