Saluda County Historical Society Benefit: A duck hunt to benefit Saluda County Historical Society will be held Sat., January 17. Children’s Books Wanted: Edgefield County Public Library is collecting old/used children’s books for a book sale to benefit the Friends of the Library.  If cleaning out closets and shelves is on anyone’s New Year’s Resolution list, now is the time to bring book donations – especially children’s books – to the library.

Sportsman’s Sunday: Johnston Pentecostal Holiness Church will have “Outdoor Sportsman’s Sunday”, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Jerry Garvin. Everyone is encouraged to wear outdoor sportsman’s attire. This will be a great event for the entire family.
