Mr. Dobbins was born in Anderson, SC and was the son of the late Thomas L. and Amelia Seawright Dobbins, Sr… He was a retired Insurance Salesman.

Survivors include 1 brother Thomas L. Dobbins, Jr. and 1 sister Fran D. Allen.
