Library News: Halloween Drop-In Thursday, October 29,2015, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Wear your Costumes & you get to play games & get special treats!!! Ages 2-13

Fall Festival: Republican Baptist Fall Festival, October 28! Come out to enjoy activities such as: Trunk-or-Treating, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Face Painting, Dunk Booth, and much more! Dinner starting at 6:30 and the Trunk-or-Treating will begin at 7! This will be a fun time you won’t want to miss! We will also hold a blood drive on site from 4-8! Give the gift of life!

Wardlaw Fall Festival: Friday, Oct. 30, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.; food, hay ride, baked goods, games, bounce house, country store, pumpkins for sale at silent auction; bingo begins at 6 p.m.(15 games for $20 and a grand prize game card for $5 per card. Everyone is welcome.

Candy Drop: Time again when kids and the young at heart are invited to join the Trenton Flyers Association for their special annual Halloween treat.  Saturday Oct. 31, at the Edgefield County Airport, Yonce Field in Trenton.  Candy will drop from the sky at 12:00 noon for the children (12 and under).  All ages welcome to visit. Trunk or Treat: Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m. at Edgefield Town Square. Costume Contest at 5 p.m. Free candy. Movie The Goonies will start at 8:30 p.m.

Trick or Treat: The Town of Johnston and the Town of Trenton will have Trick or Treat from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on October 31. The Police Departments will be on patrol. Please, Children 12 years and under for costumes and ‘Trick or Treat”.

Carnival: On Saturday, October 31, the entire community is invited to a FREE Community Carnival at the Carey Hill Resource and Conference Center located at 1591 Edgefield Rd, North Augusta. Legislative Delegation: The Edgefield County Legislative Delegation will be meeting on Thursday, November 5, at 6:00 p.m. in the Edgefield County Council Chambers located at 225 Jeter Street, in Edgefield.

Senior Breakfast: Science Hill Baptist Church is giving a Senior Citizen Breakfast at the church, Saturday Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. It is free.

Walk for Veterans: The American Legion Department of South Carolina, District 15 will host a Legion 5K Awareness Walk for Veterans at the Odell Weeks Activity Center in Aiken, on Saturday, November 7, from 8:00 am to 12:00 Noon.
