J.E.T. Boys-to Men Visited Senior Citizens

The Boys-to-Men Club enjoyed a visit with the seniors and staff of the ECSCC, Inc., on December 17, 2015. It was a “beautiful and eye-opening experience,” said some of the young men.

The students mingled and asked various questions about the life experiences of the seniors. Lots of hugs were exchanged by the seniors and students. The boys’ club also presented fruit bags to the seniors and staff.

Mr. Larry Bowe, Director, had prior engagements and the J. E> T. staff and students were greeted by Mrs. Gail Dorn, who welcomes the students each year.

The students were accompanied to the senior council by their mentors: Harold J. Torgesen, J. E. T. Asst. Principal; Deputy Archie Hill; Coach Victor Love; Ruth H. Mack, Activity Coordinator; and Mrs. Bernita Kinard, Volunteer.

The Mentors would like to especially recognize J. E. T. Principal, Mrs. Debbie Courtney and the entire staff for making the visit a reality.
