Joan Marbert Hammond, 78 of Country Place Rd. wife of Bobby Lee Hammond, Jr. died Saturday March 5, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2 PM at Edgefield First Baptist Church with burial in Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield, SC.

Mrs. Hammond was born in Sumter, SC and was a member of Edgefield First Baptist Church.  She was a loving Wife, Mother and a Homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, 1 daughter Sarah Gayle (Jack) Borders; 2 sons, Bobby Lee (Carol) Hammond, III, and Bill (Shannon) Hammond;9 grandchildren, Susannah, Caroline, Ellie, Ruthie, Joanie, Drew, Nick and his wife Blaire, Cody, and Joshua; 2 brothers Tim (Virginia) Marbert, and Nicky (Sandy) Marbert.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
