MCCORMICK, S. C. – Mr. Charlie W. Martin, of Hwy 378 W., entered into rest June 4, 2016 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 9,  at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. C. Moses Myers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Martin, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Springfield Baptist Church where he served on the ushers ministry and kitchen ministry. Survivors include his children, Vicki Martin, Stanley (Andrea) Martin, Stacey (Cherie) Martin, Tamiko (Sherwan) Bunch and Jalisha Adams; five sisters, Lorene Moton, Willie Mae McMillan, Emma Liza White, Charlie Mae Ryan and Lunette (Rev. Willie) Patten; two brothers, James Martin and Ralph (Ernestine) Garrett; granddaughter, TuNidra Mansel raised in the home, 15 other grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relative and friends.
