Doris Quarles Bryan, 88, resident of Wesley Commons, widow of Leonard Brooke Bryan, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Plum Branch, SC, September 26, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Bryant and Louise Quarles.  Mrs. Bryan graduated from  Edgefield High School and was a member of South Main Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Bryan Matzkin and husband Ken of Los Angeles, CA; four sons, David Michael Bryan and wife Laura of Fort Mill, John Ralph Bryan and wife Mary K. of Easley, Charles Leonard Bryan and wife Kathy of Philadelphia, PA and Christopher Brooke Bryan and wife Sharon of Taylors; two sisters, Mary Shaffer of Lexington and Brenda Cassell and husband Wayne of Greer; a sister-in-law, Mary Bryan Hayes of Augusta, GA; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Roberson officiating.

Burial will be in Little Stevens Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Edgefield at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Adams officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 Tuesday morning.
